Art is made with Utah restaurant/bar signs

April 26, 2018 By Heather King Leave a Comment

You’ve seen these signs at the entrance to every restaurant and bar in the state of Utah that serves alcohol. And now, they are going away.

Utah liquor lawyer Tanner Lenart is collecting old “This is a Restaurant, not a Bar” and “This is a Bar, not a Restaurant” signs that can be taken down from all Utah restaurants and bars beginning May 8. She’s working with a local artist to take the old signs and turn them into an art installation piece.

So, Utah restaurant and bar owners, don’t trash those signs when you take them down. Instead, please send your signs to:

Tanner Lenart

Christensen & Jensen

Suite 1100

200 South 257 East

SLC, UT 84111

Sign them so your restaurant will be recognized and everyone will know where they lived for their year of infamy!
