More than 30 food trucks will participate in this year’s Food Truck Face-Off in Liberty Park—designed to help four local nonprofits who care for Utah’s homeless and low-income youth and families—in addition to a great evening out for all those attending.
New in 2018, the Food Truck Face-Off will feature a movie in the park (Wonder Woman), courtesy of Salt Lake City Corporation, combined with other live music and entertainment along with a beer garden.
Prior to the event, each nonprofit organization will pre-sell $5 tickets ($6 tickets day of). Tickets will be redeemed for food or beverage at the Face-Off, priced from 1 to 3 tickets. A portion of each ticket sold will be donated to the nonprofits participating in the Face-Off.
This year’s participating nonprofits are YWCA of Utah, Fourth Street Clinic, Utah Community Action and the Utah chapter of Volunteers of America.
The nonprofit that sells the most tickets will be declared the grand prize winner and receive an additional cash prize. The food truck who has received the most tickets will receive a trophy and bragging rights as the Food Truck Face-Off Champion.
The event runs from 4-10 p.m. Saturday, June 30 at Liberty Park. For details, visit here.
