Let these Salt Lake businesses, who we’ve come to know and love for great food and education, make one-of-a-kind meals to feed and comfort your family. Each kit comes with all the ingredients and instructions you need to get a gourmet meal on the table fast.
Salt Lake Culinary Education (SLICE)
Known for teaching Utahns to cook in their beautiful, state-of-the-art kitchens, SLICE is taking their classes virtual and into your own kitchen for now.
Get all the ingredients you need with their weekly pizza and pasta kits to whip up something special in your own space. This week, try the classic Italian pasta kit ($18.50) with pork meatballs or the Mediterranean primavera ($14.50) with fresh veggies. All the chopping and measuring has already been done for you, simply heat and serve.
You can also add garlic cheesy bread ($7.50) and a mixed green salad ($6.25) to your pasta kit order. Each order serves 4.
Also enjoy three different options for cookie kits to keep the adults happy and the kids entertained during spring break. Choose from 10 or 20 cookies in chocolate chip, birthday cake or chocolate crinkle flavors for $5.25 or $9 each.
Online orders must be placed by 2 p.m. on Monday for Tuesday pick up between noon and 4 p.m. Order by noon on Wednesdays for Thursday pick up between noon and 4 p.m. Call 801-464-0113 upon arrival and your order will be brought out to you.
Cucina
Chef Joey is sending his housemade pasta specials home with you in addition to a pizza kit that’s fun for the entire family. The sourdough pizza kit feeds 2 and features regularly changing toppings. His pasta kit also feeds 2 and highlights his well-known, handmade pastas—like the cilantro and achiote tagliatelle—with a variety of proteins. Orders can be placed by calling Cucina 801-322-3055.
Gourmandise The Bakery
Both locations of Gourmandise are offering a family-style meal designed to feed 4-6 people and available via curbside or drive-thru. Included are scratch-made, gluten-friendly meatballs, slow-simmered Castilla tomato sauce, pasta, roasted vegetables, rolls and cookie dough for $37.50.
