Learn to stock your home bar with Jim Santangelo

January 14, 2018 By Heather King Leave a Comment

The Wine Academy of Utah and the Gallivan Center have recently begun hosting monthly educational beverage events.

“These educational classes are designed for consumers to dive deep into a subject with an emphasis on keeping the topic fun, approachable and, most importantly, tasty!” explains Jim Santangelo, sommelier and owner of the Wine Academy of Utah.

The January event is focused on stocking the home bar and will feature both cocktails and techniques in the picturesque downtown Gallivan event center. Learn which bottles you’ll need to stock your bar, get a handle on how to use your bar tools and then start stirring like your favorite mixologist.

The class runs from 7-9 p.m. Cost is $35 per person. All attendees must be 21 years old. No food will be served at the event.
