Oktoberwürst at Dog Haus
To celebrate October, Dog Haus is introducing the limited-time-only Oktoberwürst as the newest taste in the “Absolute Würst Sausage Series.” This one-of-a-kind sausage starts with a smoked bier bratwurst made with pretzels, cheddar cheese, and whole grain mustard.
As with every chef-driven sausage in this series, Dog Haus will donate $1 from the purchase of each Oktoberwürst to No Kid Hungry, its national charity partner. Oktoberwürst marks the seventh Absolute Würst Sausage in the series, and to-date, this charitable collaboration has helped No Kid Hungry provide more than 3.5 million meals for kids in need.
7th annual Park City Sunrise Shot Ski
Park City Sunrise Rotary Club and High West Distillery welcome imbibers to line Park City’s Historic Main Street for a shot at the 7th annual Park City Sunrise Shot Ski.
The festive fall tradition happens on Saturday, Oct. 21 at 2 p.m. In 2022, a 2,800-foot-long shot ski served 1,340 people using 528 skis end to end and raised more than $40,000 for the Park City Sunrise Rotary Club grant program.
This year, they hope to host 1,360 thirsty participants and raise $50,000 to support local grand programs.
The event’s presenting sponsor, High West Distillery, will fill this year’s shot glasses with High West Double Rye whiskey.
A $25 ticket includes a spot on the shot ski and a token to enjoy a High West specialty drink at High West, the official after-party site. Event is 21+ and is rain or shine.
