Through December 14, Deer Valley Resort’s Mariposa is celebrating their 37th winter season with a $37 prix fixe menu and optional $37 wine flight.
The multi-course tasting menu begins with one of The Mariposa’s newest creations—an entirely new selection of amuse-bouche like the visually arresting mango and pomegranate buttermilk taco or even cocktail-inspired bites like the juniper-laced gin and tonic and rose gelee or the burst-in-your-mouth mojito sphere.
Another anniversary menu highlight is the wild mushroom beggars purse artfully presented and enveloping woodsy wild mushrooms alongside warm Shepherds Dairy chèvre accented with a rich Pinot Noir gastrique.
The Mariposa is located at Silver Lake Village mid-mountain and is one of the crown jewels of Deer Valley’s gourmet dining options. It’s rated #1 in Utah by the Zagat Restaurant Guide for food and service and features an award-winning wine list.
