Celebrate the Year of the Pig with Happy Dumpling!

February 4, 2019 By Heather King Leave a Comment

The Year of the Pig officially begins on February 5, marking the start of the Lunar New Year.

Dumplings are an important part of the family celebration of Lunar New Year where every member of the family would traditionally participate in the making of the dumplings. Customs say that by eating dumplings, you are sending away the old and welcoming the new. Some people even put a coin in a random dumpling and whoever finds the coin will have great luck in the coming year.

Although you won’t find any coins in the delicious dumplings from Happy Dumpling, you will find savory fillings like pork, beef and vegetables that are hand-wrapped and packaged for you then delivered to your door!

You too can enjoy a happy dumpling day in the comfort of your own home by ordering from Happy Dumpling!
