Join Under Current manager Mike Fayad as he leads a “Wine 101” class on Saturday, Oct. 20 at 2:30 p.m. He will review wine growing regions, grape varietals, basics of wine marketing and participants will taste six wines paired with charcuterie.

Enjoy some hard-to-find and high-end Mer Soleil and Conundrum wines alongside four tastes from Meditrina.
- Conundrum sparkling with Hamachi crudo, winter melon and husk cherry salsa and lemon oil

Ridge Vineyards wine dinner at Tupelo Park City
Wednesday, October 24, at 7 p.m.
Tupelo Park City invites guests to an exclusive wine dinner featuring Ridge Vineyards. These single-vineyard wines hailing from California’s Sonoma and Santa Clara counties will be paired with four handcrafted courses from Tupelo’s kitchen on Wednesday, October 24, at 7 p.m.
“Ridge Vineyards produces some of the best wines in Northern California, and we know the palates here in Park City will thoroughly enjoy them,” said Tupelo Park City Chef & Owner Matt Harris. “Our menu is focused on the season, and we look forward to pairing some of our autumn harvest with the vineyard’s exceptional varietals.”
Chef Harris and his team will prepare four courses and close with a decadent dessert course, each to complement a thoughtfully selected Ridge Vineyards wine. The full menu includes:
- Black bass crudo, compressed apple, spruce tea, lemon, ginger crumb, dashi paired with 2016 Ridge Estate Chardonnay
- Suckling pig, caramelized shallots, grilled concord grapes, braised endive and toasted pecans paired with 2016 Ridge East Bench Zinfandel
- Roasted duck breast, Tupelo Farms chokecherry gastrique, roasted autumn vegetables and acorn squash puree paired with 2016 Ridge Geyserville Zinfandel
- Braised rabbit risotto, wild mushrooms and spiced bordelaise sauce paired with 2015 Ridge Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
- Chocolate truffles and autumnal macarons to finish

Fortified wine class at Under Current
Saturday, October 27 at 2:30 p.m.
Fortified wines (Port, Madeira and Sherry) will be the focus on Saturday Oct. 27 at 2:30 p.m. Led by Under Current Bar’s Assistant Manager Ryan Manning, the afternoon will focus on a wide variety of fortified wines including production, history and tasting notes. The event will feature two classic cocktails and six tastings, paired with bites from Alan Brines’ kitchen at Current Fish & Oyster.
